Safety For The Future
ELECTRICAL SAFETY INSPECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT: THE NEW REGIME
“As of June 1st, 2020 Government regulations will require landlords in England’s private rented sector to have all electrical installations checked at least once, every five years.” (Paul Collins, Technical Services Manager NICEIC and EIECSA).
THE NEW LEGISLATION
In England, any tenancies starting after July 1st, 2020 will be required to have an electrical safety inspection (ESI) before they commence, while those under way at that date must have an ESI completed before April 1st, 2021. For New properties with an electrical installation certificate or properties with an existing EICR, an ESI will be needed within five years.
NICEIC APPROVED CONTRACTOR
Bridge Electrical and Buildings Services are one of the main legislated and accredited NICEIC providers currently operating in England. As part of the new regime we can offer landlords, building contractors and management companies an electrical inspection that directly complies with the new regulations to ensure safety is put first and you are healthy and safety compliant.

Here at Bridge Electrical, we have been designing and installing a new kind of energy efficient high output concealed LED lighting system.
